Georgetown Debate Thriving Under the Radar

Georgetown’s debate program has taken off in recent years, as the team has recorded unprecedented success cemented by a National Title in 2012. Tyler Engler was only a freshman that year, but he has witnessed the team’s rise to success and feels that although it isn’t recognized as a sport, debate’s competitive culture motivates him to work as hard at his desk as most athletes work in the gym.
